Junior Presentation Night – This Friday 22nd March 2013
Just a reminder that the Junior Presentation Night is this Friday at the South Australian Aquatic and Leisure Centre, 443 Morphett Road, Oaklands Park (near Marion Shopping Centre). Entry into the function room is through the main entrance. Please mention at the front desk that you are attending the Somerton Junior Presentation Evening and go through the speedstyles left and up the lift to the function room. It will be well signed. There will be a cash bar in the function room, but no food available. The under 6s, 7s and 8s are up first at 6.00pm (please be there 5.45 to start on time) It will go until 7.15pm and then we will have a 15 minute break before … 
Senior Presentation Night – Saturday 11th May 2013
Join your fellow club mates in celebrating the summer of 2012/13. Provided will be a three course sit down meal including tap beer, house wine and soft drinks. Open to all members and partners. 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Cost: $40 per person Dress: Cocktail Tickets available from the Friday night Bistro and the Kiosk. Limited to 120 tickets.
Australia Day At Somerton
Celebrate Australia Day 2013 with the Somerton Nippers. Festivities kick off at 12 midday. Buddy Bar open from Midday. The nippers will run a modified program on the day, finishing off with a game of beach cricket and 3-legged races against the parents. SHOW YOUR PRIDE AND COME DRESSED UP IN SOMETHING AUSTRALIAN. Many Thanks To The Christmas Day Patrol
While most of us were sitting around on Christmas eating ourselves silly, a few Somerton clubbies were down on patrol keeping our beaches safe. If you see the following people down the club, please say a big thanks to them for volunteering their time on Christmas Day: – Ali Kuchel – Tassie Williams – Kate Lally – Sally Mainsbridge – Nick Wood Also, proficiencies are now officially over for the season. A big THANKS to RAY NUSSIO who was down the club for hours and hours every week, making sure that all patrolling members are proficient. It’s such a huge job to coordinate, and Ray has done an outstanding job again this year. Also a big thanks to DAVID PROVIS …
